Last year, OpenAI introduced their web browser, stating that it came with artificial intelligence integration that allowed users to perform a number of tasks and increase productivity. However, their offering was not widely used, and now OpenAI has chosen to end their web browser offering.
Previously, OpenAI also stopped development of their video generator, Sora. OpenAI is seen discontinuing a number of offerings that are not widely used or profitable, and focusing on offerings that are more widely used and have the potential to be expanded.
Alternatively, users can now use the ChatGPT plugin for Chrome, which will also use ChatGPT integration in the Chrome web browser without the need to change or install a new web browser. Along with this change, OpenAI is also updating the ChatGPT desktop application offering that integrates a number of new things with it.
