Samsung Electronics has now officially formed a special division within their company focused on robotics, which is seen as a drive for the development and commercialization of robots under them.
Samsung has named their robotics division RX – in line with the branding of their other divisions. RX is seen as an abbreviation for “Robotics Experience”. Leading this division is the former head of robotics strategy at Hyundai Motor Group, namely Lee Dongkun.
In parallel with the formation of this new division, Samsung will also establish their robotics-focused hubs in the United States, China and Japan.
The robotics arena is ready to receive a lot of attention, including showing the participation of various companies, including Honor, Xiaomi, Tesla and a number of other technology companies. China itself has a number of companies focused on robotics that have already produced robots that can move and interact well today. With this new formation, let's all wait and see what Samsung's first offering under this robotics division will be.
