Threads today celebrates its 3rd anniversary since its public launch, and is one of the fastest growing social platforms. After launching in July 2023, Threads only took about five days before it reached 100 million registered users.
Since then, it has been actively growing day by day. According to the latest data shared by Meta, Threads now has over 500 million monthly active users. This simultaneously places it among the world's leading social platforms, not to mention their algorithms that are now good at discovering various content, and making many switch from platforms like X to Threads.
Meta itself is seen to have started to focus more on the Threads platform lately. Advertising support has already been activated on Threads, in addition to them recently introducing an update to the Threads logo.
In conjunction with its 3rd anniversary today, Threads is offering a "hat" image on every user's photo on the platform when sharing on Threads today.
