When traveling abroad, the main thing that usually comes to mind is access to roaming internet data.
Tune Talk is now introducing an E-Roaming service that allows customers to use free internet data roaming in 13 selected countries, namely Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and New Zealand. With this service, users can stay connected while traveling without having to worry about additional charges.
This service is only offered for certain plans, namely Epik+ 50, Epik+ Family and Epik+ Family Safe. At the same time, E-Roaming is automatically included in these plans without any additional monthly charges and does not require separate activation. Therefore, users only need to ensure that the “Data Roaming” setting on the phone is turned on to start using it.
According to the official FAQ, Tune Talk does not impose any hidden charges for E-Roaming. However, if the user changes or downgrades to an ineligible plan, this E-Roaming will be stopped immediately. Internet speed depends on the partner network at the destination and may differ from the speed in Malaysia. Tune Talk also does not set a specific daily quota for E-Roaming. However, network partners are expected to impose a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) and this varies by country.
