After several times of teasing its presence, REDMI Malaysia has finally announced the official launch date for the new REDMI Note 17 series. The launch is scheduled to take place on September 2, 2026, just a few days after the global launch.
This series comes as an interesting continuation with a main focus on durability. Most notably, it will be the first Redmi device equipped with a large 10,000mAh battery. This addition thus marks the rapid growth of the large-capacity battery segment in the market.
Adding to these advantages, REDMI also equips this device with 100W fast charging support to make it a balanced combination of durability and performance. More importantly, for the first time in the history of the Note series, REDMI will introduce a Pro Max model which is expected to offer a more premium experience to users.
For now, no other specifications have been revealed. This means that all detailed information about the internal features and official price in Malaysia will only be announced at the launch.
