Sony has hinted at the arrival of its latest Xperia device through an update on its official channels. The launch is scheduled for August 25, 2026, but Sony has yet to reveal any further details about the device's design or specifications.
So far, only the hashtag #NextXperia and the caption "A new Xperia is loading..." have been shared as early promotions. This has led to various speculations among fans, with some expecting it to be a launch for the Xperia 10 VIII.
According to initial reports, the device is expected to use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, just like its predecessor. In addition, the FCC document that emerged also confirmed that this phone still retains the 3.5mm audio jack, a feature that is considered part of the Xperia identity, along with a microSD slot.
However, it is still unclear what changes will distinguish this new model from the Xperia 10 VII, the latest model introduced in September last year.
