Sony is set to launch a new smartphone on August 25, but its design has been leaked earlier. The back looks almost identical to the previous Xperia 10 VII model with a flat panel and a horizontal camera bar at the top that houses two cameras and an LED flash.
The leaked design shows a white color with a slight greenish tone. The power button on the right side also functions as a fingerprint scanner. Interestingly, there is no camera hole or notch on the screen, instead Sony maintains thicker top and bottom bezels. Overall, this design does not feature major changes, but rather small improvements rather than drastic changes.
In terms of specifications, this device is expected to use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip, just like the Xperia 10 VII. The Geekbench report also mentions that the Android 16 operating system may be used, but there is a possibility that it will launch with Android 17. Sony is also expected to focus on other aspects such as the camera or software, but so far it looks too similar to the previous model.
