TikTok Shop has now informed sellers on the platform, stating that effective September 1, 2026, they will begin implementing a 6% SST charge on delivery charges through the platform. For the introductory period between September 1 to September 6, 2026, TikTok Shop will bear the charge, and starting September 7, 2026, the charge will be levied on sellers.
This charge was introduced in line with the change of TikTok Shop's logistics entity in Malaysia to a local company, TikTok Shop (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. This charge will also be levied on Unsuccessful Order Charges, Early Delivery Charges and Return Delivery Charges.
The new additional SST charge imposed is on the delivery service charge, and not on the selling price of the goods. This new charge is in addition to several previous increases, including the introduction of a 50 sen charge for each successful sale since February 2026.
