Apple Considers Selling AI Servers Powered by M8 Ultra Chips to Developers and Enterprises

Apple is reportedly developing plans to sell servers powered by the Apple M8 Ultra chip—focused on generative AI—aimed at enterprise users and developers. This move aligns with the high demand among developers for Mac Minis and Mac Studios to run AI models.

Should Apple proceed with this initiative, it would mark the company's return to the enterprise server market. Reports indicate that Apple is also considering a variant that integrates NVIDIA technology into its future offerings.

However, the project is currently in its early stages; if it reaches production, the product would likely not hit the market until around 2029. With a new Apple CEO who places greater emphasis on product development, we may see John Ternus continue to experiment with various product iterations to drive the company forward.
