If you are looking for a desktop-class gaming computer with powerful components—and happen to have enough money to buy a car—ASUS Malaysia has recently announced the arrival of its latest high-end gaming desktop, the ASUS ROG G1000, for the local market.
In terms of specifications, the system combines the processing power of the AMD Ryzen 9 9950 X3D with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card, all built upon an AMD X870 motherboard capable of significant CPU overclocking. The motherboard also supports Wi-Fi 7 wireless connectivity and Bluetooth 5.4.
The system comes equipped with 64GB of DDR5 memory (two 32GB modules) and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. These components can be expanded and upgraded with two additional memory modules and three extra M.2 2280 SSDs, should you require more capacity and have the budget for the additional hardware.
Powering these components is an ASUS ROG 1000W power supply unit, housed within a massive 104L ATX-sized desktop chassis. Meanwhile, the CPU is cooled by a liquid cooling system featuring a 420mm radiator.
The ASUS ROG G1000 also comes bundled with an ASUS ROG keyboard and mouse.
ASUS Malaysia has priced the ASUS ROG G1000 (with the aforementioned specifications) at RM32,999; it is available for purchase via the ASUS Store Malaysia as well as through local ASUS computer and hardware retailers. Meanwhile, ASUS Malaysia has announced that early purchases of this computer via the ASUS Store Malaysia will come with a complimentary ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG32UQWMS monitor worth RM5,650, while stocks last. Purchases made through the ASUS Store Malaysia are limited to one unit per customer.
