Meta previously introduced Muse as a smart personal agent. With the latest update, Muse is now being integrated into Spotify.
Muse simplifies audio control, allowing users to play songs, podcasts, or audiobooks via voice commands without manually opening the app. This integration not only streamlines access but also marks Spotify's move toward a smarter audio ecosystem.
Beyond playing music, Muse can save songs to the library, create new playlists, and help users discover fresh content. Notably, it can also schedule audio experiences to align with daily routines.
For instance, Muse can ensure a workout playlist plays every morning at 7:00 AM or activate a focus playlist during work hours. Creative features are also available; Muse can generate a "Personal Podcast" from daily notes or summaries and save it directly to the Spotify library.
Currently, Muse is available only in select markets: the United States, Canada, and Mexico. It features a customizable, cute avatar, operates across Meta apps—such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Threads—and is offered for free.
This feature is expected to expand to more countries and regions in the future.
