Five years ago, Meta launched Ray-Ban Stories as its first pair of smart glasses. This was followed by the Ray-Ban Meta series, which featured enhanced capabilities. Despite having been available for some time, these smart glasses were not officially sold in Malaysia; purchases typically required asking a friend to buy them or using third-party sellers, leaving buyers without warranty coverage in the event of damage.
This morning, Meta announced that the Ray-Ban Meta Optics, Ray-Ban Meta, and Oakley Meta product lines will be rolled out to more markets by the end of 2026.
Notably, Malaysia is among the markets included in this expansion. In addition to Malaysia, the products will enter new markets such as Türkiye, Poland, Portugal, Israel, South Africa, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and the Philippines.
Starting today, Ray-Ban Meta Optics and Oakley Meta will also finally be officially available for sale in Singapore, South Korea, Mexico, the UAE, and Brazil.
