The new Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) and a special Lisa (from Blackpink) edition of the Meta Glasses were announced this morning, alongside the camera-free Ray-Ban Meta Audio. The Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) is available in 27 combinations of colors, lenses, and frame designs—specifically the Ray-Ban Aviator, Zena, and Wayfarer.
This new edition is slimmer, offers a more comfortable fit, features longer battery life, and includes a new customizable button to access Meta AI. As with the Ray-Ban Meta Audio, access to the Muse AI model is also now included.
Battery life now extends up to 9 hours on a single charge, compared to 8 hours for Gen 2 and 4 hours for Gen 1. According to Meta, the new six-microphone system can filter out 90% of ambient noise during voice calls. The 12MP camera captures photos and video at 3K resolution. Meta stated that Dolby Atmos spatial audio recording capabilities will also be available by the end of the year.
The Meta Glasses line-up adds two new frame designs: Capri and Nova (joining the previously available Adventurer and Fury models). Additionally, limited-edition Meta Glasses designed in collaboration with celebrities Kylie Jenner and Lisa (Blackpink) were announced. The Meta Adventurer LISA Edition and Meta Capri LISA Edition feature unique frame designs as well as exclusive carrying cases.
The Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) starts at $449 (~RM1,837) per pair. The Meta Glasses by Kylie Jenner, Meta Adventurer LISA Edition, and Meta Capri LISA Edition are priced at $399 (~RM1,632) per pair. With today's launch, Meta also confirmed that Oakley Meta and Ray-Ban Meta will officially go on sale in Malaysia by the end of 2026. In addition to Malaysia, they will also enter new markets in Türkiye, Poland, Portugal, Israel, South Africa, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and the Philippines.
