Anthropic, known for its Claude offering, has officially announced plans for a public listing on the Nasdaq exchange. The company will trade under the ticker symbol “ANT,” and through this public listing, it reportedly aims for a valuation between $1.5 trillion and $2 trillion. Anthropic may be targeting to raise up to $100 billion through this offering.
Funds raised from the public listing will be used to invest in infrastructure, as well as to acquire other businesses and technologies. According to current financial reports, Anthropic recorded a loss of $80.7 billion for the first six months of 2026.
Early projections suggest that Anthropic could begin official trading as early as this November; this will likely shape how various stakeholders perceive artificial intelligence-based companies. In addition to Anthropic, OpenAI is also expected to pursue an initial public offering (IPO) in the future.
