In addition to the new MacBook Pro 14 (M6) and iMac (M6), Apple has announced several new features for Apple Creator Studio, designed to enhance users' creative capabilities while integrating various artificial intelligence (AI) features to accelerate workflows.
MotionVFX in Final Cut Pro
Final Cut Pro is now more powerful, with MotionVFX integrated directly into the application. This provides access to thousands of visual effects, templates, titles, transitions, and professional editing tools. The Content Hub now offers stock videos, photos, and backgrounds that can be used directly from within the app.
Seamless integration with Pixelmator Pro allows images to be edited directly from the timeline, eliminating the need for re-exporting. Other enhancements include more refined keyframe animation options, the ability to detach clips from the main storyline, and support for 23 languages for the new automatic transcription feature.
Generate Fill
Beyond its integration within Final Cut Pro, Pixelmator Pro has also gained an AI-powered "Generate Fill" feature. Users can select an area of an image and describe the desired changes using natural language—much like in other AI-driven applications. The generated content can be upscaled using "Super Resolution" and added as a new layer for further editing.
Artificial intelligence from Apple and OpenAI is now supported across Keynote, Pages, and Numbers. The in-app virtual assistant can understand the context of an open document. In Keynote, it can assist with design, animation, and slide refinement. In Numbers, it helps with data analysis, suggests charts, and automatically builds tables.
Apple has also added support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which enables AI agents and external tools to read content, perform edits, and automate actions within Keynote, Pages, and Numbers. All the features mentioned above will be available as a free update to Apple Creator Studio subscribers in November 2021. Apple Creator Studio is offered at a price of RM29.90 per month or RM299 per year.
