Fujifilm has launched two new disposable camera models for the Malaysian market: the waterproof QuickSnap Active and the QuickSnap Black & White. This launch coincides with the 40th-anniversary celebration of the iconic QuickSnap series, which was first introduced in 1986.
The QuickSnap Active is a waterproof variant encased in a special plastic housing that allows for use at depths of up to 10 meters. It uses ISO 800 color film, enabling users to capture 27 shots. Additionally, the shutter button is designed to be larger, making it easier to operate during rugged activities or water sports.
Meanwhile, the QuickSnap Black & White is a monochrome model designed specifically for street photography enthusiasts who appreciate a distinct aesthetic. It utilizes high-quality black-and-white film with a fine grain texture to produce sharp, captivating, and artistic retro-style images.
Prices start at RM98 for the standard QuickSnap model, while the Active and Black & White models are priced at RM118 each. These new models are currently available through an exclusive in-store takeover event with atmos at Mid Valley Megamall, running until October 25, 2026.
