Grokipedia launched last year as a rival to Wikipedia, with content written by the Grok artificial intelligence (AI). After nearly a year, Grokipedia has received a makeover via the V0.3 update earlier this month.
The site is no longer minimalist; instead, it features a sidebar listing the five most-read articles, along with a list of the top 30 most-read articles since the site's inception. The most significant change is that articles are displayed as 3D books, complete with images representing the subject matter. A carousel at the bottom arranges these "books" as if they were on a library shelf.
Clicking on a book takes the reader to the article page, which retains the site's original design. This interface update follows reports from last August that the site had not been updated for some time.
