OnePlus has expanded its audio lineup with the launch of the OnePlus Buds Clip, which feature an ear-cuff design. With an open-ear construction, the Buds Clip allow users to enjoy music while remaining aware of their surroundings—a useful feature during activities like exercise.
Each ear-cuff is equipped with an 11mm woofer and a 9mm tweeter, tuned in collaboration with Dynaudio. While there is no Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), the device includes touch-sensitive controls on the side. The Buds Clip are also ambidextrous; they automatically detect whether they are being worn on the right or left ear.
The device includes an alert system that notifies the user if an ear-cuff falls out. Additionally, it features an AI chip capable of real-time translation. High-resolution audio is supported via the LHDC codec.
Each unit offers up to 9.5 hours of playback, extending to a total of 40 hours with the charging case. They also carry an IP55 water-resistance rating, making them suitable for use during workouts.
The OnePlus Buds Clip are available in Pearl White, Pebble Grey, and Twilight Rose; however, pricing has not yet been announced.
