It has been two years since the Proton e.MAS brand was introduced by Pro-NET. Since June 2024—starting with the C-segment EV SUV Proton e.MAS 7, followed by the B-segment EV Proton e.MAS 5 in October 2025, and the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV earlier this year—the brand has gained a place in the hearts of Malaysians. To date, over 40,000 Proton e.MAS units have been sold; today, during an event celebrating the delivery of the 40,000th unit, the company also shared details of several new promotions.
Through the Proton e.MAS infotainment display and the Proton e.MAS app, users can access over 5,100 charging points across 12 different charging providers. This makes it convenient for Proton e.MAS owners to charge their vehicles at various locations. Owner support has also expanded, with an increased number of sales outlets and service centers across Malaysia.
To celebrate this milestone, Pro-NET has announced several special promotions for current and prospective Proton e.MAS owners, including:
An additional RM1,000 trade-in rebate via Carsome
A 10% discount on maintenance services
A special edition Touch 'n Go card for the first 1,000 owners to undergo vehicle maintenance
A 40% discount on charging fees for four days
A special charging rate of RM1.20/kWh from DC Handal
A RM5,000 discount on the installation of the Huawei FusionSolar system
Additionally, the company shared details regarding its own branded chargers, which will soon be available to consumers. Furthermore, to encourage the use of the Proton e.MAS EV, the company has partnered with PASSGO, allowing e.MAS owners to earn reward points based on their driving distance. These points can be redeemed on popular platforms such as Grab, Touch ‘n Go, and Lazada.
