Xiaomi 18 Pro Series Set to Enter Global Market This Month

Xiaomi has begun dropping hints regarding the global launch of the Xiaomi 18 Pro series, which is scheduled to take place this month. The series was first introduced in China last September, with Xiaomi subsequently confirming a global market launch slated for late 2026.

Our checks also revealed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max model has been listed in the SIRIM database since October 13. This development suggests that the device will likely enter the Malaysian market in the near future.

It remains unclear whether the global version will feature the same specifications as the model sold in China. However, preliminary information from leaked listings indicates that the global version of the Xiaomi 18 Pro is expected to come with a 6,000mAh battery and 90W charging. This capacity is lower than that of the Chinese model, which is equipped with a 7,000mAh battery and 100W charging.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is also reported to feature a 7,050mAh battery—compared to 8,500mAh in the Chinese model—while retaining support for 100W fast charging. Regarding other specifications, both models are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip and feature 120Hz OLED displays, 200MP cameras, and an IP69 water-resistance rating.

For now, all this information is based on rumors and early reports. Furthermore, Xiaomi has yet to officially confirm whether the global versions will differ from the models offered in China.
