How to Change Different WhatsApp Wallpapers for Each Contact

After being tested and available to a limited extent, the WhatsApp Advanced Wallpapers feature is finally widely available to all Android users. Previously, this feature was only available to iPhone users since late last year.

This new wallpaper functionality is available in WhatsApp for Android version 2.21.2.18, so make sure you download the latest version of WhatsApp from the Play Store.

With this feature, users can also set different wallpapers for each chat, either individually or in groups, so they don’t get the wrong space. WhatsApp also provides 88 new wallpapers that can be used.

The new wallpapers offered by WhatsApp consist of 32 Bright series wallpapers, 29 Dark series wallpapers, and 27 solid colors. If you choose to use solid colors, users can display them clearly or with the addition of WhatsApp snippets.

To install this new wallpaper, the steps are as follows:

Open the WhatsApp application on the Android phone

Press the three -dot icon located in the upper right corner of the app, then select Settings

Select the Chat menu, then select Wallpaper

Select the Change option in the center of the screen, then select one of the four available categories, namely Bright, Dark, Solid Colors, or My Photos. You can see how each wallpaper looks by swiping left and right

If you choose a solid color wallpaper, you can choose to add streaks or not

If appropriate, select Set Wallpaper at the bottom of the screen to change the wallpaper

You can adjust the brightness level of the wallpaper by moving the Wallpaper Dimming slide at the bottom of the screen.

You can use the above method to change the wallpaper in all WhatsApp chats at once. To set a different WhatsApp wallpaper in each individual or group chat, there is its own way.
