Downloading IG stories (Instagram) can be done via Android or iOS. Keep in mind, Instagram Stories is one of the most popular Instagram features launched in August 2016.
Although very popular and has many users, there are limitations to Instagram Stories. One is that Instagram has no direct way to download or download content shared through IG stories.
1. Download IG story via Android
For Android users, downloading IG stories, others can download Instagram Stories using the app. The app you can download is Story Saver on the Google Play Store.
Once downloaded, you can log in using your Instagram account. And on the front page you can see all the Stories downloaded by your friends but can also find Stories uploaded by other users in the search bar.
The trick is to select the video you want to download and click Save.
2. Download the IG story via iOS
Unlike Android, iOS can download IG stories with the Repost Story app for Instagram. The app is very easy to use, you just need to give access to your photo library, then log in to your Instagram account and find the Instagram account you want to download Story.
3. Download IG stories online
For those of you who don’t want to download additional apps, you can download IG stories online with the web.
There are several websites you can use, such as StoryDownloader, Story Saver and StoriesIG. How to use it is simple, all you have to do is fill in the available space with the username of the user whose Story you want to download.
Please wait a few moments after entering your username. After that a column will appear showing User stories uploaded in the last 24 hours. Select the photos or videos you want to download and click the download or save button.
