Tips for Choosing a HP Charger

Large capacity batteries are arguably one of the most important requirements for mobile phones nowadays. However, if not balanced with a capable charger, charging will take a long time.
For this reason, choosing a charger is also important for current cell phone users, other than using the default charger, of course. One of the important features of today’s chargers is its fast charging capability.

However, buying a sloppy charger is certainly dangerous for our smartphones. Maybe, with a fake adapter or an adapter that was originally unclear, it actually makes our cell phone batteries easily damaged. In addition, what should be considered when buying an HP charger?

Don't Buy Cheap

The term says, whenever there is a price, there must be the right item. Buying products at a low price, of course, the quality is not guaranteed. For example, buying a cheap charger at a very low price, of course the quality is questionable. There is a possibility that the quick charger is damaged, and can even damage the mobile phone.

Check the Voltage

Charging power is based on three things: power (P) is measured in Watts, current (I) is measured in amps or millimeters, and voltage (V) is measured in volts. The total force is determined by the equation P = IV. In other words, power is the product of current multiplied by voltage.

When you select a charger, you can check the voltage information on the charger package. In addition, you can also get this information through the charger head. A good charger has a voltage statement on the head.

Check the phone charging technology

Different phones have different charging standards. There are Quick Charge, VOOC, Super Charge, Adaptive Charge, and so on. For this feature to work, you should also find a charger that supports this standard.

Read the Charger Description

Input

The input is defined as the electrical voltage acting on the charger. For example, if the input shows a frequency of 100-240V-50-60Hz 0.35 A. This means that the charger can be used in mains voltages between 100-240 Volts. The standard electric current in Indonesia is 220V and a frequency of 50Hz.

Production

In addition to the input, the charger description also contains the output number. For example, if the output shows the number 5.0V, 2.0 A means that the power generated or that will enter your cell phone has a voltage of 5 Volts with a current of 2 Ampere. The output indicates the voltage that has been changed from the existing input. In the example above, from an input of 100-240 Volts to 5.0V or 2.0 A.

Check Features

Before buying a charger, it is good that you understand the features in the charger. If your smartphone already supports the fast charger feature, choose a charger that also supports the same feature so that your smartphone can charge faster.

One of the chargers that has various fast charging protocols is the Turbo charger from Hippo Powerbank. This feature supports Quick Charge 4.0+, VOOC, and Power Delivery with 36W output
