Viral on Twitter, this is a way to find a lost or stolen cell phone

 


On Twitter once again the viral network ‘My dad’s mobile phone is missing (stolen)’. If a cell phone is lost or stolen, you must know how to find it.


This network from @qelstudy_ has received 25,700 likes and 5,182 retweets. The story of this missing mobile phone is sequential and full of controversy as to how it was finally found around Samsat’s office.



This story seems to describe the feelings of many people. Many netizens feel their cell phones are lost or taken.



Definitely feels irritated, sad, shocked, angry, resigned and various other emotional expressions mixed. Yet, many netizens also don’t know that lost or pickled cell phones can be searched and traced, much like a viral Twitter story.





There are several ways to find a lost or stolen cell phone:



Conditions for finding a lost or stolen cell phone:

The Find My Device feature on mobile phones is active. Get used to it now to enable the Find My Devices feature. From the Settings section, select Security and turn on the Find My Device button.
HP must be turned on
Using a Google account you usually use
Connect with a data plan or WiFi
Location / GPS in active position.


How to find a lost or stolen cell phone:

Search using another device (another mobile phone or laptop), sign in to the same Google account as the one on the lost mobile phone
In a browser, type https://www.google.com/android/find
Or from the Google app directly type 'Find My Devices'
Or open the Find My Device app
Google will show the location of the missing mobile phone on Google Maps with an accuracy of up to 10 meters.
Select Secure Device to lock the cell phone so that it cannot be used. You can still find the HP after it is locked
Select Play Sound. The cell phone will ring loudly for 5 minutes, even in silent mode. You can approach the location of the voice to find a lost cell phone.
To be safe, invite a security guard or security officer to accompany you to approach the location of a lost or stolen cell phone.
