How to mute video voice on WhatsApp before sending

WhatsApp has just launched a video mute feature that can output sound on video. This function can be enjoyed by Android mobile phone users.
This function is available in the WhatsApp application for Android version 2.21.3.13. For iPhone users, please be patient as there is no information on when this feature will be available for the iOS operating system.

As the name suggests, this feature can produce sound in a video before it is shared by the user. This feature applies to videos shared via chat and status.

How to mute a video on WhatsApp before sending:

Make sure you use the latest version of the WhatsApp application. To update the app, open the Google Play Store, search for WhatsApp and select update.

After using the latest version of WhatsApp, open the app on your Android device.

Open the contact you'd like to send the video to, then select the camera icon in the conversation column.

To share a video in WhatsApp Status, click on the camera icon located in the lower right corner.

You can record a new video or select an existing video in the phone gallery.

When you have finished recording or selecting a video to send, click the speaker icon located in the upper left corner below the video slider. Click once to turn off the video.

After that click the send button to send the video as usual.

If you’ve updated WhatsApp to the latest version but haven’t found the video mute feature, don’t worry as this feature may be rolled out gradually to all users.

So far, WhatsApp users have not been able to voice on videos they want to send via chat or share in Status. If you want to mute the voice in a video, users must rely on third -party applications.

WhatsApp is a bit late in introducing this feature when compared to its Instagram sibling. This photo -sharing service can eliminate voice in videos, either to be uploaded via Stories or sent via Live Messages.
