Some of you may often forget to send a message or wish a happy birthday to a friend. This feature is perfect for you.

In addition, for students, if they are afraid of losing time to contact the lecturer, you can schedule a message to be sent at a faster time.

The main requirement, you must install Google Messages on your smartphone.

The reason is, this feature will not work on existing default messaging applications. Download Google Messages on the Play Store.

First step, open Google Messages and open the conversation after updating to the latest version. You will see a pop -up window appear above the 'Submit' button.

This is similar to what you can see with email scheduling in Gmail.

To schedule text, start typing your message, then long press the 'Send' button.

After that, you will see a selection of previously selected dates and times. You can use one of the suggestions, or tap 'Choose date and time'.

That will open the Android date and time picker that will allow you to customize when the message will be sent for up to a few minutes.

When you have finished setting the time, tap 'Save'.

In addition to text messages, you can also include supporting photos or videos if needed. Next, tap the ‘send’ button which now has a clock icon on the paper airplane.
