How to Post Photos on Twitter in 4K Quality

After a month of testing, Twitter announced that users can now upload and view photos in 4K resolution. This new feature is available for Twitter on Android and iOS.
In fact the Twitter web app supports high -resolution photos, which are 4,096 x 4,096. But for mobile apps, Twitter limits photo quality to a maximum resolution of 2,048 x 2,048.

With this new feature, Twitter users can view and upload 4K photos on the go without having to use a PC. It is very easy to activate this new feature.

How to Post 4K Photos on Twitter:

Open the Twitter app on Android or iPhone and then enter the Settings menu.

Open the 'Data usage' section.

After that, activate the 'high quality photos' option to view 4K photos.

Enable 'upload high quality photos' to upload high quality photos.

Time to Tweet those high -resolution photos - the option to upload and view 4K photos on Android and iOS is now available to everyone.

You can also choose whether these high-resolution photos can be turned on when the phone is using mobile networks and Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi only, or turned off completely, as quoted from The Verge, Friday (23/4/2021). The same options are also available for high quality video and video autoplay.

Twitter began experimenting with 4K photo options on mobile apps in early March. In a similar experiment, they also tested a feature that improves auto-crop when uploading photos on Twitter.

But it appears that an improved photo cropping feature is not yet available for Twitter users, and it is not yet known when testing for this feature will be completed. So let’s post a picture on Twitter in 4K quality first!
