4 Ways to Minimize Digital Impressions, Simple and Customizable From Now on!

Protecting personal data by minimizing a digital footprint is the best way to live comfortably in this era of internet dependence. But, that doesn’t mean you can’t do online activities at all until your personal data is protected.
Here are four ways that can be done to minimize the digital footprint reported by Pop Sci:

1. Impersonation

There is an option to browse in Incognito or private mode on the browser to be used. With this mode, the app will forget the pages you visited including the keywords you used.

But this does not mean you are not tracked at all. For example, if you log in to a Facebook website in Incognito, the social media network is still recording activity. To cover your ISP, use a VPN when launching.

2. Delete the message

Actively and regularly delete messages on your phone. If necessary, use a chat app that allows self -destructive messaging features. If not, delete it manually.

3. Restrict tracking from applications

Each app on the phone takes a slightly different approach to recording its users ’activities and some let users feel comfortable using incognito mode. Other applications will stop tracking the user if the user requests it.

There are millions of apps on the market, but in general, a good first step is to check the settings to stop tracking. If you do not find this option, you must delete the activity manually. This process will vary depending on the operating system you are using.

4. Clear search history

Many mobile apps store data in and in the cloud, so they can sync your information to other devices. This means, to clear search logs from your phone, you must clear logs across multiple platforms.

For example, your Google account will store a history of searches you run from your Android phone. To delete this record, you must access it from the web. Open a browser and go to the Google activity history page then delete.
