Summer in Tokyo, Japan is not only hot but also makes the environment humid as this combination often causes a number of serious illnesses
The Tokyo 2020 Olympics itself is the 32nd edition of the Summer Olympics which will be held from July 23 to August 8, 2021.
According to a report from The Guardian, there are concerns that this summer could lead to an increase in cases of heat attacks in humans. And the big problem is that during this epidemic, medical services began to flood in and became more focused on dealing with the COVID-19 virus.
To protect the Olympic committees from related illnesses this summer, Alibaba has created a cloud -based solution to monitor their body temperature and heart rate.
Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games staff will wear smart devices in their ears to track their statistics and environmental indices that will be monitored through heat pressure gauges installed throughout the venue.
The data will then be sent to cloud -based technology that will identify the level of heat attack risk in real time for each user.
Those at risk of a heat attack will receive an alert on their phone along with recommended precautions such as drinking more water as soon as possible.
Tokyo reportedly reported nearly 200 related deaths this summer. Since the Olympics fall in the summer, athletes and those involved in the sport must prepare their physicality to the maximum.
Previously the event had fallen in the summer of 1964 but the government moved it to October in the fall to prevent heat -related illnesses.
However, this year it will still be held in the summer so preventive measures such as using Alibaba’s anti-heat technology must be taken.
