See Earth from Space, Richard Branson: A Magical Experience!

Richard Branson couldn't contain his joy as he recounted his experiences in space and seeing the Earth from above. This British man, the founder of Virgin Galactic, shot with the USS Unity to a sub-orbital height of 88 kilometers.
"This is amazing. I feel like I'm still in space. Welcome to the beginning of a new space era," Branson told the media shortly after landing at Spaceport America, New Mexico.

The new era he means is space tourism for ordinary people. Virgin Galactic is ready to take those who have already paid for a ticket to experience the same thing as Branson.

Seeing Earth from space according to Branson is incredible. "I think like most kids, I've been dreaming of this moment since I was little and to be honest, nothing can prepare for seeing the view of Earth from space. We have an amazing Earth. It's unreal," he said.

"I was a child with a dream to see the stars and now I'm an adult in a plane looking at our beautiful Earth. If we can do this, imagine what you can do," added Richard Branson as quoted from Space.com, Monday (12/7/2021).

Three Virgin Galactic employees accompanied Richard Branson, they were Chief Instructor Astronaut Beth Moses, Principal Operations Engineer Colin Bennett, and Vice President of Government Affairs and Research Operations Sirisha Bandla.

They could not hide their joy. "My parents heard when I was little that I wanted to go to space," said Brenda, who was hugged by her father moments after landing safely.

The success is the culmination of Virgin Galactic's 17-year effort to develop commercial spaceships for travel. Richard Branson is clearly happy to beat competitors like the world's richest man Jeff Bezos with Blue Origin.
