China is becoming increasingly vocal about not wanting to be impatient over allegations that the Corona virus has been leaked or made in a Wuhan lab. They refused to launch new research to the Wuhan Institute of Virology despite the WHO and the United States requesting it.
In addition, China also denied various rumors about the Wuhan laboratory. In May, for example, the Wall Street Journal, citing U.S. intelligence sources, reported that three researchers at a Wuhan lab contracted a mysterious disease in November 2019.
Even the researchers claimed that they should be rushed to the hospital for treatment. This raised their suspicions of being infected with the Corona COVID-19 virus before it finally spread in late 2019.
Responding to this, Zhao Lijian, a spokesman for China's Foreign Ministry, asked Americans to show the evidence. His party admitted to having no knowledge of the sick researcher.
"Who are the three sick researchers, what are their names, what disease is infecting them? If their Corona virus test is positive, please show the report," Zhao said.
"I want to tell everyone that the Americans cannot present evidence, because they are lying. They are tarnishing and defaming China by using the original issue of COVID-19," he said.
China has also rejected a re -investigation of the Wuhan laboratory. "We will not accept a search plan that, in some respects, ignores common sense and goes against science," Zeng Yixin, deputy minister of the National Health Commission (NHC), told reporters.
