Australian PM: The world needs answers on the origins of the Corona Virus

The Prime Minister of Australia, Scott Morrison, says that citizens of the world deserve a clear answer as to where the Corona COVID-19 virus originated from. He made this comment following a WHO statement that the Corona leak theory from the Wuhan laboratory could not be ruled out.
As reported, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom said that China should work further to find the origin of the Corona virus. He added that it was too early to reject the theory that the virus leaked from a Wuhan laboratory.

Morrison said his country as well as other countries have always been curious about the origins of the Corona virus. "What happened and how can we prevent it from happening again? That's an honest question from Australia," he said.

He noted that that did not mean that his party accused Corona of leaking from a Wuhan lab. "We don't know about the labs and whether it's a start or not. Maybe yes or no. I don't have an opinion on any of those things and I can't assess them," the prime minister continued.

Even so, the Corona virus has caused so much damage and millions of lives that the world needs an explanation of its origins.

"The world needs answers to this and deserves them, those who have lost their lives and livelihoods. They deserve answers and Australia will continue to ask for answers," he said.

Australia has urged an independent team be formed to uncover the true source of the Corona virus. Australia’s concerns were also voiced by other countries, particularly the United States.

As far as has been mentioned, there is no authentic evidence that the Corona virus leaked from a Wuhan laboratory or, furthermore, was invented there. The majority of scientists agree that the virus most likely originated in bats.

The Chinese government and officials at the Wuhan lab have repeatedly denied this. However, some have asked China to be more transparent in disclosing all information related to the Corona virus.
