Twitter Provides new features like Instagram Close Friends

Twitter shows three early concepts for its latest features. One of them is the 'Trusted Friends' feature that at first glance looks like a 'close friend' feature on Instagram.
As the name implies, the Trusted Friends feature allows users to send their tweets to the public bait so that all followers can see it or just for certain accounts, such as friends and family.

These features are expected to help Twitter users with many accounts, such as personal and alternative accounts, or who are always switching from public accounts to personal accounts.

Ever wanted a tweet, but not to everyone?

We are exploring many ways to control who can see your tweets. Here are two early ideas (we haven't developed it).

The second concept is similar to a trusted but slightly more complicated friend. The so -called Facets function allows users to send tweets divided into several categories.

This feature is useful for users who regularly tweets about their various aspects of life, including jobs, personal life, hobbies, businesses and more.

Other users can also follow any of the topics of tweets, without having to follow the creator's account. For example, followers who follow users because they both like football will not be flooded with other tweets that are not followed.

Here are another approach, including clear truth: we are different people in different contexts (with friends, family, employment, public)

Finally, there is a feature that allows Twitter users to block certain words or sentences that they do not want to see in their reply to the tweet. In the example shown by Twitter, the words that are blocked are words such as 'as **** e' and if other users respond to the tweet with this word, there will be a warning.

Twitter says other users who answer with blocked words can only ignore the warnings displayed. But users have the option to put a reply that violates this rule to the bottom of the conversation, as quoted from The Verge, Sunday (4/7/2021).

Some reply hurts (and sometimes accidentally). So how can we help people set boundaries in the conversation they make?

This is one way we think - like spelling checks, but because we don't hear it like a reply.

Twitter emphasized that these features are just concepts and are not actively developed. The concept of this feature is displayed to help them collect early feedback from users before being developed and tested.

New features of Twitter are also often leaked before being formally announced. By announcing this concept first, social media with bird logos can prevent outside criminals leaking their plans.
