17,000 Galaxy S21 5G Free for 2020 Olympic Athletes


 The euphoria of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics is still ongoing. The smiles of the competing athletes were even more cheerful after Samsung gave away a limited edition Galaxy S21 5G for free.
Samsung is the main sponsor of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. It is worth noting that South Korean technology companies have been participating in global sporting events since 1988.





Since the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics until now, Samsung has been diligently giving away their mobile phones for free to athletes.



   

Reported from Phone Arena, Thursday (8/8/2021) athletes from various countries participating in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics are entitled to take home a free limited edition Galaxy S21 5G.



Samsung will also provide a similar model to athletes competing in the Paralympics which will also be held in the Japanese capital. A total of 17,000 thousand units of the Galaxy S21 special edition have been distributed.



This limited edition Galaxy S21 5G has a blue color scheme, where the camera panel is golden. On the back of the phone there is the Samsung logo and below it the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic logos.



“Samsung will continue to support Olympic and Paralympic events that connect fans to the Olympics, as we have done for over 30 years,” said Stephanie Choi, Senior Vice President and Head of the Mobile Communications Business Global Marketing Team.
