Then how do I say the name X A-Xii? Elon Musk once explained this when he was a guest on the PowerfulJRE YouTube channel.
"X is pronounced like 'X' and AE is pronounced like 'ash', then A ( / ei /) twelve ( / twelv /)," Musk said.
According to him, the A-12 or now converted into A-XII is the idea of Elon Musk, which was inspired by Archangel 12, the predecessor of the SR-17 which he called the coolest fighter aircraft.
The next question is, why was the name X A-12 changed to X A-Xii? This matter has not been answered by mother or father. But Grimes says Xii looks cooler.
According to law in the state of California, Musk and his girlfriend must change their child’s name if they want to get a birth certificate. One of the conditions that must be met to obtain a birth certificate is that the child’s name must use 26 characters of the English alphabet.
Some symbols are also allowed such as hyphens for last names or using quotation marks. Thus by converting the number ‘12’ into the Roman numeral ‘Xii’, Musk and Grimes were able to register their child’s birth certificate.
