Huawei officially released the MateBook D14 and D15 in the market. The laptop is powered by the 10th generation Intel Core i3 processor.
The MateBook D14 and D15 offer similar specifications and displays. The only difference is the size of the screen. The MateBook D14 carries a 14 -inch screen, while the MateBook D15 has a 15.6 -inch screen.
The MateBook D14 and D15 bezels are thin, which makes the screen to body ratio reach 87%.
Both laptops offer a lightweight body to support the mobility of users. The MateBook D14 weighs 1.38 kg, while the MateBook D15 weighs 1.53 kg.
"Both notebooks are suitable for use for college or work in the office or mobile," said Edi.
For the kitchen, Huawei paired the Intel Core i3 processor with 8 GB of RAM. The internal memory is an SSD with a capacity of 256 GB.
For the needs of online meetings, a 1 MP camera with 720P resolution is provided. Uniquely, this camera is made hidden in the keyboard. Users can easily open it when they want to use it.
Huawei also includes a Multi-Screen Collaboration feature. Not only to smartphones, this feature can be used on Huawei tablets as long as they are running Harmony OS.
"When connected, users will find three modes of use, namely Mirror, Extend and Collborate," explained Edi.
The MateBook D14 and D15 laptops have a USB Type C port for recharging the battery. The charger itself is made portable so it is easy to carry.
As for the battery itself, Huawei promises longevity. When in full condition, the MateBook D14's battery lasts up to 13 hours for normal use, while a MateBook that uses a larger screen can be used for up to 8 hours.
Complementing its laptop, Huawei pinned an improved Shark Fin Fan 2.0 cooling system and a larger air output. For the connection, it is given WiFi 6 support and to increase its security, it is given a fingerprint sensor that integrates with the power button.
