Arriving in Shenzhen, the daughter of Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei expressed her gratitude and gratitude to her motherland, the party and especially President Xi Jinping.
"As an ordinary Chinese citizen, who suffered from these dire circumstances and was stranded abroad for 3 years, there has never been a moment where I did not feel the care and warmth of the Party, of Mother Earth and the Chinese people," said Meng.

Meng also praised the leadership of President Xi Jinping and the Chinese Communist Party, and expressed his loyalty to the country. "Where there is a Chinese flag, there is a flare of faith. If that belief has a color, then it must be Chinese red," he concluded.
Thousands of people welcomed Meng's arrival at Shenzhen Airport. Even the tallest skyscraper in Shenzhen emits the message "Welcome home, Meng Whanzhou." On social media, he is also considered a hero and is believed to be innocent.

China has repeatedly condemned Meng Wanzhou's arrest, and has also arrested two Canadians on suspicion of espionage in retaliation. As part of the Meng release deal, two citizens, Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor, were also released by China.
"Welcome home, Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor. You have shown incredible strength. Know that all Canadians across the nation will continue to be here with you, as before," wrote Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as he welcomed their return home.
