Genshin Impact is celebrating its first anniversary. Even so, netizens flocked to vent their frustration on Twitter and made the words 'Genshin' and 'Mihoyo' trending. What is it?
After announcing their anniversary on September 28 on their @GenshinImpact account, they have actually provided a variety of interesting events. Players can enjoy it until October 12th.
But unfortunately, many netizens were not happy. They questioned why there were no more attractive rewards or prizes on the day which according to miHoYo was special.
Most of the events lead to contests for fan art and cosplay. While the things that focus on the game are not too significant, starting from the currency given is very small so it is not as expected by fans.
Currently Genshin Impact itself is trending on Twitter, with a total of 470 thousand tweets for the word 'Genshin' and 439 thousand tweets for the word 'Mihoyo'. The numbers are also growing, beating the latest information about Messi and the Madrid football team.
As stated by the account @Genshinmem, Genshin and Mihoyo are trending in the world for a bad reason. The following are the complaints of some netizens regarding the first anniversary of Genshin Impact.
"Come on miHoYo say something. Give us a sign, where is the birthday present? Just blocking all negative comments, will cause a bigger wave of hatred," wrote Oz.
"I want to express my dissatisfaction regarding the One Year Anniversary prize. I have played Genshin Impact for a whole year and it is unbelievable, the prize is pathetic, namely '40 Primogems'. Please give my account one 5 star character, Mona, for free," wrote Genshin Struggles.
"This gift is complete nonsense," Mafuyu wrote.
"Stop giving us Gacha events, Paimon," wrote Tohma Lovers.
"Is this real? If so, congratulations on shutting down the community, which helps your game achieve good things. You guys are great, but you can't do it without a player base who really loves the game," wrote Cibeleporto.
