The inaugural iPhone sales in various countries are identical to the Apple Fanboy line up neatly in front of the Apple Store. But sales of the iPhone 13 in a city in China were colored by a mob of people who couldn't wait to become the first owners of the iPhone 13.
The video uploaded by the South China Morning Post on Twitter shows the scene of the first sale of the iPhone 13 at a shopping center in Shaanxi Province, China on Friday (24/9).
The shopping center, called Seg International Shopping Mall, only opened at 10:00 am local time, but hundreds of people were already running towards a cell phone shop. Even the escalator in the mall looks full of people who can't wait to get an iPhone 13.

Due to the huge crowds queuing up, the store stopped selling the iPhone 13 on the first day. All customers who were already queuing were asked to come the next day so that the shop could be prepared for the onslaught of visitors.
Apparently, the store that was visited by hundreds of people was not an official Apple Store, because its name was not on the list of Apple's official regional stores, as quoted from Apple Insider, Tuesday (28/9/2021).
The video also shows several logos belonging to other mobile phone vendors such as Oppo. It is not known whether this store is an Apple distributor partner or a regular electronics store.
Apple itself started selling the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max in several countries since last Friday. Some of the countries that first got the iPhone 13 include Japan, New Zealand and Australia.
Because the launch of the iPhone 13 was still marked by the pandemic, Apple opened online orders so there were no massive queues like in previous years. Apple also implements strict health protocols in its stores such as social distancing rules, requiring the use of masks, and so on
