Eric Barone, developer of Stardew Valley, said that he is currently focusing on working on a new game. The perspective that is carried is similar to its predecessor, namely top-down.
"I'm not saying there will be an update to Stardew Valley. I don't even know for now, because I'm focused on the next game. So, we'll see," said Barone.
For all the details regarding the new game, Barone has not disclosed. He only revealed a few, to tease fans, until the official launch.
"I will probably announce it soon. What I want to say is that the game will also contain pixel art elements, with a top-down perspective similar to Stardew Valley. However, not a farming game, because this is something different," said Barone.
This news appeared in the main discussion, regarding the first Stardew Valley tournament, which was held by Barone and renowned streamer, Zach Hartman. They have also prepared a total prize, reaching USD 40 thousand or around Rp 570 million.
However, the tournament, which has been held since September 4, has ended and the winner has been chosen.
