The Galaxy Watch 4 is Samsung's latest smartwatch series, also the world's first smartwatch to use the latest version of Wear OS.
Different from their predecessors, the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic no longer use Tizen as their operating system.
In collaboration with Google, Samsung adopted WearOS with OneUI interface.
On the back of the Galaxy Watch 4 Series is installed the Samsung BioActive Sensor which combines three sensors into one, namely heart rate, electrical heart sensor (ECG) and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis sensor (BIA).
The Galaxy Watch 4 series is the first smartwatch that can calculate the composition of the human body. Users can see skeletal muscle, basal metabolic rate, body fat, BMI and body water instantly.
In 14 seconds, the sensor will take 2,400 important data and analyze it. Samsung claims the accuracy of the results reaches 98%.
To help users' fitness, Samsung provides Home Training. Users only need to connect the Watch 4 to a Samsung Smart TV.
Watch 4 has Advanced Sleep Management which has the ability to detect snoring and monitor oxygen in the blood. And because it uses Wear OS, users can install third-party apps.
All of these capabilities were promised by Samsung to run smoothly. That's because the Watch 4 series is equipped with the Exynos 920 which has 5 nm fabrication combined with 1.5 GB of RAM.
This is the 40mm Galaxy Watch 4, which is also available in 44mm. While the Classic version has 42mm and 46mm options.
