Qlue Strategy for Expansion to Japan, Malaysia and Singapore

 


Qlue, a smart city ecosystem provider company, plans to expand to Japan, Malaysia and Singapore in 2021. This is their strategy to achieve this target.

One of Qlue's strategies to expand is to improve their human resources aspects, both qualitatively and quantitatively. According to Qlue's Founder and CEO Rama Raditya, the challenges in the smart city industry continue to evolve all the time, according to market dynamics.


Therefore, the company's strategy to focus on aspects of human resource development is very crucial so that Qlue can continue to innovate on its solutions and be able to adapt optimally in the company's business aspects.



"The recruitment of the best human resources certainly has a significant impact so that Qlue can get the best talents and can contribute optimally to the company," concluded Rama.


"Therefore, we also cooperate with the Work.io platform to accelerate the company's business expansion because the support of the best talent will certainly help the business expansion process that we are implementing, especially in Japan, Malaysia and Singapore," he added.


In addition to collaborating with the Kerja.io platform, Qlue also actively organizes discussion sessions titled Qluepedia which focuses on discussing the latest trends related to careers in the professional world through collaboration with more than 15 well-known higher education career development institutions in Indonesia, both public and private.


Currently, the discussion session entitled Qluepedia has entered its third season and has received a good response from the public. The Qluepedia discussion session was attended virtually by more than 1,000 participants consisting of students, fresh graduates, and first-jobbers throughout Indonesia.


The speakers presented in Qluepedia are professionals in multinational companies in various sectors such as creative, FMCG, oil and gas, and technology companies with Unicorn status.


According to Qlue President Maya Arvini, a selective recruitment policy is one of the keys to the company's success in recording positive business growth and overseas expansion.


"Qlue's policy is to maintain a lean employee structure because management must be able to ensure that all functions are able to contribute optimally. We must also ensure that all employees who join Qlue are in line with the company's values, namely Synergy, Execution, and Integrity, both as permanent employees as well as internship programs," explained Maya.


"Currently, the policy will continue, but of course the staffing posture needs to be improved in line with our strategic business expansion abroad, especially in Japan, Malaysia and Singapore," he concluded.
