Michael Dell was born February 23, 1965 in Houston, Texas, United States. He was born into a well-to-do family of Jewish immigrants. In 1988, PC'S Limited changed its name to Dell Computer Corporation and began to expand globally. Michael was treading on his heyday as an accomplished computer businessman.

From 1997 to 2004, Dell enjoyed steady growth and captured competitor's market share. Until 2001, Dell was number one in terms of quality and service according to a Consumer Reports report. Dell surpassed Compaq as the world's largest PC computer manufacturer in 1999. But in 2002, Compaq, which merged with HP, overtook Dell again.

Dell married a Texas woman named Susan Lynn Lieberman in 1989. They have 4 children and are far from scandal or gossip.
