Bill Gates recently celebrated his 66th birthday. The former richest man in the world celebrated his birthday lavishly in Turkey and also invited Jeff Bezos.
Turkish media The Daily Sabah reported that Gates celebrated his birthday with Bezos and 50 other invited guests at Sea Me Beach in Fethiye, Turkey last Wednesday (27/10).
All invited guests were flown from the megayacht Lana rented by Gates, to the party location. The luxury yacht was chartered by Gates at a cost of 1.8 million euros per week.
The 107-meter long cruise ship is equipped with a series of luxurious facilities such as a gym, jacuzzi, beach club, and swimming pool.

Gates' own birthday party lasted four hours. Local seafood, sushi and pizza are the main treats during the party, accompanied by champagne.
Everyone who works at the location of Gates' birthday party is prohibited from using cell phones to protect the privacy of invited guests, as quoted from Business Insider, Monday (1/11/2021).
After the party ended, Bezos then returned to his yacht, which was docked at Gökova, in a helicopter. Currently, Bezos seems to be continuing his vacation in Turkey because his yacht, the Flying Fox, is sailing on the Mugla coast.
Gates himself is currently on vacation in Turkey after marrying his eldest daughter, Jennifer Gates, to Nayel Nassar. A few days ago, the Microsoft founder was seen visiting the ancient city of Ephesus and the pilgrimage site of Our Lady.
