Samsung Galaxy A52s Review: Waterproof HP that is Satisfied with Use

Samsung has a champion in the middle class that is worth considering to have. The HP in question is the Galaxy A52s, has complete features that are satisfactory when used.

At least that's the result of our experience after a few weeks of using this Galaxy A52 successor as a daily driver. Almost no significant complaints during use.

For more details, here is a brief review of the Samsung Galaxy A52s:

Waterproof Body

In appearance it is still the same as the Galaxy A52. Even so, it is still interesting, especially the mint green variant that we reviewed this time.

The back cover is made of polycarbonate material, but when viewed, it still looks premium. This is thanks to the adoption of a matte layer that is not only nice to look at but also comfortable to hold and free of fingerprint stains.

The Galaxy A52s is not so thick so it can be held tightly, in addition, its weight is also light. Because the dimensions are not very spacious, it makes the operation with one hand so easy, apart from that it still fits when stored in the pocket of jeans.

Despite the current era of TWS earphones, this HP still has a 3.5 mm audi0 jack at the bottom. Yes even though the cable earphones themselves are no longer included in the sales package.

Just like its predecessor, the Galaxy A52s has IP67 certification for water resistance. This feature is very important, especially since the rain has often washed away in various parts of the world, thus reducing the worries when the HP is wet from the rain while on the go.

Eye Pampering Screen

It seems that we have never heard a complaint about the quality of the Super AMOLED screen on the Samsung HP. Well, this Galaxy A52s uses the same panel, so the color quality that is presented should not be in doubt.

The important point, this HP screen has used a refresh rate of 120HZ, up from 90Hz on the Galaxy A52. The screen scrolling experience is much smoother. Dare to guarantee when you return to the 60Hz screen, the eyes will immediately protest.

Enjoying streaming on this HP is clearly worth it, not only because the screen is 6.5 inches Full HD+, Samsung paired two speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The Galaxy A52s still adopts a punch hole at the top of the screen. However, the size is relatively small so it is not so annoying when watching videos.

Camera Okay

Samsung Galaxy A52s has four rear cameras. The arrangement includes a 64-megapixel main camera, 12-megapixel ultra-wide, macro and 5 megapixel depth each. Selfie tasks are handled by a 32 -megapixel front camera.

The Galaxy A52s is quite competent when taking photos during the day. The resulting photos are sharp and clear with a good dynamic range.

Photos taken indoors are also clearly visible, but this depends heavily on the quality of the lighting. When there is less light, the level of detail will decrease.

When photographing at night using night mode, the results are still quite satisfactory. The snapshots look bright, although the details are a bit lacking.

The 32 -megapixel front camera also captures sharp selfies with excellent detail.

Smooth Performance

During use, the performance of the Galaxy A52s is so smooth, not even encounter any obstacles. Even when running many applications at once, switching between windows goes smoothly.

All that thanks to the Snapdragon 778G which is integrated with 8 GB of RAM. Oh yes, this HP has a virtual RAM feature so that it has a total of 12 GB. No wonder playing COD Mobile games without lag despite the maximum settings and not hot.

We had a chance to do benchmark testing. Here are the results:

- Antutu: 425,238

- GeekBench Single Core 762

- GeekBench Multi Core 2807

- PCMark Work 3.0 12,719

Battery

The Galaxy A52s battery has a capacity of 4,500 mAh. The consequence of using a 120Hz refresh rate does make the battery run out faster.

However, this HP is able to last more than 15 hours. Slightly longer than the test results with the PC Mark Work 3.0 battery where the Galaxy A52s is able to last up to 11 hours 21 minutes.

Samsung provides 25W fast charging support while other vendors already provide 65W fast charging. As a result, it takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to make the Galaxy A52s fully charged.

Our opinion

Galaxy A52s can be an option for those of you who have a budget below Rp 7 million. This HP offers complete specifications and features.

The screen is airy and offers excellent color. It will be satisfying when used to enjoy entertainment, moreover, the stereo speakers are equipped with Dolby Atmos.

Thanks to Snapdragon 778 makes the performance of the Galaxy A52s smooth and supports 5G connection. The battery is reliable for daily activities.

So is the camera, satisfying to capture moments during the day. And most importantly, this mobile phone is water resistant, so there is no need to worry when it rains.

Hopefully in the future Samsung will provide higher battery charging support than now. In addition it reduces non -essential applications, although they can be removed by the user themselves.
