China Launches Mysterious Satellite Tianhui-4

China has launched another satellite for the umpteenth time. This time, the Tianhui-4 communications satellite was blasted into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center carried by the Long March-2D rocket.

As quoted by Xinhua, Thursday (30/1/2021) this is the 404th launch of the Long March rocket series so far.

The satellite was built by the China Academy of Spaceflight Technology (CAST). Chinese media reported that its later use would be to map the planet Earth.

However, there are also suspicions that this satellite will also be used for military purposes. The United States also monitored this launch and detected two objects launched into space.

This is the first satellite of the Tianhui-4 series. It is not stated what technology it brings, but it is suspected that it has a high-resolution camera.
