LG Electronics (LG) plans to introduce its newest innovation in air purifier devices at the 2022 Consumer Electronic Show (CES) event in Las Vegas, January 2022. The name LG PuriCare AeroTower, this device is claimed to be able to provide the convenience of air purification in a personalized room.
This Air Purifier has three modes. The first is the Heating Mode, which will make the air purifier and fan flow warm air which can be set up to 30 degrees Celsius.
There is also a Fan Mode that provides freshness through cool air that can be adjusted to the intensity of the flow. Lastly, Diffusion Mode which ensures the quality of indoor air to be clean by filtering and channeling it through the Air Guard diffuser. This mechanism makes clean air more widely distributed with stronger air circulation.
LG also installed a new technology called Air Valley, which allows the air purifier to create a valley-like airflow that follows the surface. Commonly known as the Coand effect, this produces a consistent and comfortable coolness that fills the entire space.
With an upright design resembling a conical tube, this LG PuriCare AeroTower operates quietly by producing only 23dB of sound. The cylindrical shape itself makes it look artistic with a modern style that can easily blend into various types of room decorations.
There are two color options. In addition to the beige type with shades of yellowish brown, the LG PuriCare AeroTower will also be available in silver shades.
Not only relying on design and airflow comfort, the LG PuriCare AeroTower has also been tested for its ability to improve indoor air quality. IBR Laboratories as an international testing agency, for example, certifies its ability to improve indoor air quality.
This is inseparable from the development of special features embedded by LG. Among them, the True HEPA Filter with its multiple-stage filtering operation is also proven to be able to capture 99.97% of particulates measuring 0.3 microns.
Strengthening the performance in air purification, the company also embeds LG UVnano technology. With the ability to produce ultraviolet-C rays, its use is believed to reduce the presence of bacteria that are often unwittingly attached to the surface of the fan.
It is also easier for users to know directly the condition of the air quality in their room through the LCD display on their body. Even if you are not in the room, this monitoring can be done via the special LG ThinQ application which can be downloaded on Android phones and iPhones.
With this application, it is easier for users who are active outside to ensure the air quality in the house is at optimal conditions for other family members. The reason is, not only monitoring, the design of the function of this application also allows users to make various adjustments to the work of the device remotely through WiFi connectivity.
"The LG PuriCare AeroTower Air Purifying Fan is really designed with today's home lifestyle trends in mind. Perfect for use all year round with the dynamics of temperature and weather outside. For cooling, heating and even purifying the air in the house," said Lyu Jae- cheol, President of LG Home Appliance & Air Solution Company.
