The Cellphone with the Best Camera 2021 Is...

The camera is still an important aspect in buying a cellphone. Interestingly, throughout 2021, vendors will compete with each other to bring beautiful cameras to their devices.

Of all the devices released this year, there are three that we have the best camera on. The vendors have made improvements in terms of hardware and software.

Not only because the photos are beautiful, the ability to record video is also very good. Here are three cellphones with the best cameras in 2021 that were officially released in Indonesia:

1. iPhone 13 Pro

iPhone 13 Pro is equipped with a new wide camera that has a sensor measuring 1.9 micron pixels and an aperture of f / 1.5. Apple claims this to be the largest sensor ever installed in an iPhone.

The wide camera on the iPhone 13 Pro offers a huge improvement in low light shooting of up to 2.2x when compared to the iPhone 12 Pro, and almost 1.5x when compared to the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Sensor shift stabilization is available on both models.

The new ultra-wide camera has a much wider f/1.8 aperture and has a new autofocus system, delivering a 92% improvement in low-light environments, resulting in brighter, sharper images.

Thanks to the new lens design, for the first time Apple has provided an auto focus feature on an ultra-wide camera on an iPhone. The attraction doesn't stop there, the iPhone 13 Pro has the ability to shoot macro with a minimum focus distance of 2 cm.

Macro capabilities are extended to Slo-mo and Time-lapse video recording. The iPhone 13 Pro also has a new telephoto camera with a focal length of 77 mm that offers 3x optical zoom for a total of 6x optical zoom on the camera system.

There is a Cinematic Mode available for capturing videos of people, pets and objects with beautiful depth effects with auto focus shifting and recording in Dolby Vision HDR. Apple also introduced ProRes (1080p at 30 fps for 128GB storage, 4K 30 fps on other models), an advanced video codec that is widely used as the final delivery format for commercials, feature films, and broadcasts, to offer higher color fidelity and less compression.

2. Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra

The Mi 11 Ultra briefly occupied the top spot on DxOMark before being replaced by the Huawei P50 Pro. This Xiaomi cellphone won an overall score of 143.

In its review, DXOMark said that the main strength of the Mi 11 Ultra is in its large sensor. The ISOCELL GN2 sensor size used is 1/1.12", much larger than the 1/1.32" sensor used in the Mi 11 Ultra.

In fact, the size of this sensor is almost close to the sensor used in the Sony RX100, a premium compact camera, which is often asked to be the best compact camera. Not only the photos that get praise, the ability to record video and its zoom lens also gets a good score in DXOMark.

Xiaomi uses a 48 MP telephoto camera that has 5x optical zoom capability and digital zoom of up to 120x. Mi 11 Ultra is also equipped with a 48 MP ultrawide camera with a Sony IMX586 sensor with a 128-degree viewing angle.

Xiaomi also installed dToF with 64 dots on the back of the Mi 11 Ultra camera. In addition, embedded OIS functions and a flicker sensor.

One of the highlights, Mi 11 Ultra has the ability to record ultra slow motion of 1,920 fps.

3. Vivo X70 Pro

Vivo X70 Pro 5G brings a 32MP Front Camera. While on the back there are four cameras.

The main camera is 50MP using a SONY IMX766V sensor, plus a 12MP portrait lens with a SONY IMX663 sensor and a 12MP Ultra Wide-Angle Camera with a 2.5 cm macro lens. Then there is an 8MP periscope camera that has 5x Optical Zoom and 60x Hybrid Zoom capabilities.

Vivo X70 Pro 5G brings one of the ZEISS Optics camera technologies which is coated with ZEISS T* Coating. Through this collaboration, the Vivo X70 Pro 5G camera system will present three iconic ZEISS Style Portrait camera features, namely the iconic classic Distagon, Planar, and Sonnar lenses, as well as still presenting the Biotar Portrait Style.

ZEISS's T* Coating is designed to reduce reflectivity, and minimize light reflection, flare, stray light, and ghosting when shooting both still photos and videos.

Interestingly, the presence of the ZEISS T* Coating on the Vivo X70 Pro 5G will be integrated and mutually support the work system of the Vivo development camera, so that it will effectively help users when exploring photos and videos both when the light is bright to low light.

Vivo perfected Gimbal Stabilization 2.0 on the Vivo X60 Pro series to become an Ultra-Sensing Gimbal Camera for Vivo X70 Pro 5G. The Ultra-Sensing Gimbal Camera is enhanced with Gimbal Stabilization 3.0 enhancements with the Sony IMX 766V sensor.

Then also added the VIS 5-Axis Ultra Stable Video image stabilization technology. This technology will integrate the EIS algorithm with OIS to improve camera stability with better light sensitivity.

Thanks to the Ultra-Sensing Gimbal Camera technology, this variant is able to support the stability of taking videos and photos at night. This can make taking photos at night prone to shaking caused by the image processing time lag of a few seconds when taking photos.

Supports night photography, ZEISS T* Coating technology support with Vivo software algorithm, AI Noise Reduction capable of reducing flare effects, as well as ghosting that usually occurs at night through Pure Night View.

In addition, the Vivo X70 Pro 5G also brings updates to the night photo feature with Real-Time Extreme Night Vision, which is a system that supports previews of photo brightness exposure intensity, and real-time time duration information before taking pictures and videos, thus helping users when photographing the beauty of the night is clearer and more detailed.

Not only for photography, night video capture is also easier thanks to the Super Night Video on the Vivo X70 Pro 5G which functions to increase the sharpness and clarity of images or objects more authentically when recording video. Even in order to give users creativity in taking videos, the Vivo X70 Pro 5G is also equipped with Pro Cinematic Mode.

With 3 key elements, namely Focus Distance Mark, Spatial Align Transfer and Adjustable Audio, it allows users to become professional videographers with easy and readily available editing features.
