LG has just announced a television line which will be released 2022 at the CES 2022 event. The device includes OLED and the latest generation mini LEDs that are claimed to be optimal for playing games.
LG OLED
LG G2 and C2 are the two main spotlings of the TV line LG OLED 2022. The two models carry the enhanced EVO OLED technology.
Complementing the 55, 65 and 77 Inch model, the LG G2 series now has two new size variants, namely 83 and 97 inches. The latest version is claimed to be the first 97-inch OLED TV model in the world.
While the LG C2 series presents a 42-inch new size to answer the needs of the console gamers and PCs. This is the smallest LG OLED TV made by South Korean vendors. Other size variants provided include 48 inches, 55 inches, 65 inches, 77 inches and 83 inches.
Both the LG G2 and C2 are powered by the latest Alpha 9 Gen 5 processors. LG claims the processor provides an increase in the results of upscaling content and adds 3D effects to the image on the screen. The LG G2 series gets Brightness Booster technology that will make the screen panel brighter up to 20% compared to the G1 variant.
Apart from LG G2 and C2 which is a 4K Premium OLED TV line, LG also presents a relatively more more affordable A2 and B2 series. There is also LG Z2 which is the only 8K OLED TV from the company.
All of these models will run WebOS 22 which present many new features. It includes the ability to create user profiles for personalized recommendations, mirroring cell phone display on TV using the NFC Magic Tap application, even can mirror content from one room to another through the room to room share feature, and use TV as a controller for a smart home device.
For gaming, users can easily choose and switch among game special features and display the preset directly from the game optimizer menu on TV. The menu provides quick access to new Dark mode mode, which adjusts screen brightness for a better game play experience when the lights are turned off.
Still in the same menu, users can now easily access settings for G-Sync Compatible, Freesync Premium and Refresh Rate (VRR) variables. The more complete is now given a new sports mode to join the preset for First-Person Shooter, role-playing, and real-time strategy providing more detail and real.
LG QNED Mini LED
The LG LED Mini QNED TV ranks for 2022 have three new 4K models: 90 inch, 85 inch, and 80 inch. There is also an 8K model available in a 99 inch selection and 95 inch.
All models are powered by LG Quantum Dot Nanocell technology that can support 100% color volume. There is support for Precision Dimming technology to help TV provide a superior contrast ratio.
LG said the viewers would be able to see complete color consistency even from a different perspective.
Interactive features
In 2022, LG tried to reimpt the TV role by adding new services that facilitated more personal experiences and interactions at home.
New services presented include:
- LiveNow application
This application provides access to online, show, sports and other premium live program concerts that can be followed and watched by users actively.
- 1M Homedance
For those who want to dance like their favorite K-Pop idols, LG TV presents 1M Homedance applications. Made in collaboration with 1Million Dance Studio, one of the most popular K-Pop choreography teams.
This application provides a variety of tutorial options to help users improve their movements. Users can see their movements with camera mode while dancing with 1million professional choreographers, or resting, sitting, and watching their favorite dance clips.
- LG Fitness.
This is the first LG health platform for. LG Fitness helps users enjoy a healthier lifestyle at home.
Users can find the ideal exercise plan based on system recommendations or make themselves by choosing from various choices such as HIIT fast, stretching the whole body or guided meditation, among other things, tracking their activities and progress in the application dashboard.
- Independa.
LG TV can even help users take care of family members remotely or help seniors to be more independent. As the first tele-healthcare service supported on the LG TV, Independa has an intuitive interface that makes it easier for users to start video chat with caregivers or easily access relevant professional service menus.
All notifications and warnings are integrated into the webOS so that it can always be seen at a glance. Professional services available in Independa include Dentulu (Online Dental Consultation), Capital Rx (Discount Pharmacy Platform), Coverdell (Dental Insurance Benefits), WebMD (Medical Class Education Video), and SPRIO100 (Fitness Program for Seniere).
