Call Concept in iOS, Users Can Know The Reason They Are Called

In this day and age, most smartphone users send text messages more often than telephones. In fact, they prefer to receive text messages, either SMS or instant messaging applications, rather than receiving calls, especially if there is a call from an unknown number.

But Super Friendly CEO Dan Mall created a unique concept for the platform on iOS that allows callers to create the reason and purpose of their call.

This means that when a call comes in on the phone, the user receiving the call will be able to see a message as to why the other person is calling so they can decide whether to answer the call or not.

This feature can be useful for both known and unknown numbers. For example if you receive a call from an unknown number then they can explain the reason behind the call so you know if the number is not a spam or bot phone.

Or another example of a case where you experience a cell phone turning off because the battery runs out so you borrow someone else's cell phone to call your family to let them know, so send a message to show that you're not a stranger.

Another potential scenario is when a friend or family member calls but you're doing something, so if it's urgent they can state that in their message and you'll know you need to answer the call right away.

However keep in mind that this feature is still a concept which means it's more like a what-if scenario and there's no guarantee that Apple will make it happen, but this concept sounds really good so hopefully Apple or even another brand can implement the concept.
